In this "What I Eat in a Day" vlog, I'll show you everything I eat while working 9-5 . I believe strongly in a whole foods diet approach. I'll show what I eat in a day to stay fit and lean while at work. As we age, our metabolism begin to slow down and I believe eating a whole foods, well-balanced diet is the key to staying fit & lean. In order to sustain a nutritious and healthy diet, you need to love the food you eat and it needs to fit your schedule & lifestyle! When working 9-5 at the office, I always make sure to pack easy to prepare, well-balanced meals that are packed full of protein, good carbs and healthy fats. These meals keep me full and satisfied right up to dinner. In this video I'll show you how to make a copycat recipe of P.F. Chang’s Chicken lettuce wraps that you can easily whip up after a full day of working. These chicken lettuce wraps have been my go to dinner lately. They're inspired by the world famous P.F. Chang's chicken lettuce wraps. My copycat version of these lettuce wraps have been in my dinner rotation lately because they are so easy and quick to make - it literally takes under 20 minutes! These copycat wraps taste similar to the P.F. Chang's original chicken lettuce wrap recipe, but they're much healthier and homemade. I love this low carb meal because it's full of big Asia flavours in a small and healthy lettuce cup. 3-4 shallots (minced)
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp tamari
sriracha to taste
1 8oz can water chestnuts (diced)
